The Essence of Reduction

In this series, I explored the concept of reduction—stripping away the unnecessary to reveal the essential form. The clay is left relatively unadorned, allowing the silhouette to speak for itself.

The process involved wheel throwing followed by extensive trimming to achieve thin, delicate walls that contradict the visual weight of the material.
